What is your favourite spot you like to go with your family?
We love to go to Jamboree, but we also explore different playgrounds in Ghana and around the world when we travel. We take every opportunity to play!
When we have time, we like to go to the beach as well. The children really love going to the beach!
Why are we asking this question? Having kids is always portrayed as something "beautiful" but we all know it's not easy to raise a child. We want to show other parents that we all struggle from time to time and that it's ok.
My biggest struggle was finding balance at home and at work. I felt guilty if I couldn’t spend enough time with my children, so I would try to do everything and be everywhere at once. This really took a toll on me; being a mum of three, a new business owner and full-time lawyer.
However, overtime, I learned to trust my great support systems at home and at work which enable me to be more productive and to take breaks when I need it. Finding balance is also good for the children as it stops me from hovering all the time and they have the opportunity to explore and become more independent.
